I’m keeping my kit on for The Sudsy Challenge!
I'm not changing my clothes for three days to help change the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
This September, I'll be taking on The Sudsy Challenge to raise funds and awareness for Orange Sky - an organisation providing access to free laundry, warm showers and genuine conversation.

Hi all. By 30th September my Sudsy challenge t shirt to support people facing homelessness had still not arrived . I figured this was symbolic of limited clothing people homeless people have. I spent the next 4 days living and sleeping in the same clothes - 3 of those days in my van . while I chose to sleep in my van many don't even have that roof over their heads and many are forced to live in a car as have lost their home. I even ran out of food as I was unable to catch any fish. While my experience is nothing compared to that faced daily by far to many people in Aotearoa and globally however the challenge was great to just reflect a little on issues many face . Hato Hone are developing links with Orange sky to deliver health checks and please donate to support my aim to raise $295 which will cover one Orange sky shiftThanks to my supporters!
